Our Mission

Amber Connect's mission is to provide safety, security and peace of mind to vehicle owners, provide business intelligence for commercial verticals and create a safer and a more secure society by offering affordable IoT security solutions.

Who We Are

Amber Connect is a Kingston-based software company that specializes in the development of Internet of Things (IoT) applications. As one of the newest members of the ICD Group, Amber Connect reaffirms the group's commitment to technological innovation. Amber Connect's primary product is an affordable, user-friendly vehicle tracking system, the first in the industry to employ artificial intelligence. The state-of-the-art system provides real-time GPS location data, generates instantaneous anti-theft alerts, and can remotely and automatically shut down the engine in case of unauthorized use.

Big Data Analytics

Perhaps most importantly, the companion mobile and web applications provide customers with invaluable data regarding driving behavior, fuel expenditure, vehicle maintenance, and more. Amber Connect's software uses big data analytics to compile and present this data in accessible, graphical reports. This comprehensive telematics data enables fleet managers to assess security risks, develop counter measures, and optimize resource allocation, thereby reducing operational costs. Clients can even leverage this data to obtain reduced insurance premiums.

Increase Safety

Founded with the intention of using profits to fund humanitarian and philanthropic projects, Amber Connnect strives above all to increase the quality of life for its customers. We want to increase safety on the road in all regions, especially those struggling with high crime rates.

In its short time on the market, Amber Connect has already made a significant impression upon the tech community, with clients in over a dozen countries. In the past two years, Amber Connect has presented at CES 2016 and 2017, the 2015 Web Summit in Ireland, and the 2016 Surge conference held in India. Amber Connect was also featured in the January 2016 edition of Hemispheres and was described as a "delightfully disruptive Jamaican tech startup" by blackenterprise.com in January of 2017.
